Clear responsibilities support customer trust

Konto’s transformation programme separates education and preparation from regulated financial-service delivery.

State the service and its current status

Konto is developing its financial-inclusion and digital-finance services. Membership and agent-candidate registration do not create a bank account, deposit, loan, insurance policy or investment. Any regulated service must identify the responsible authorised provider and applicable terms before activation.

Responsibilities at each stage

Permissions

Establish the regulatory basis of the actual service.

Provider Identity

Identify the institution responsible for the product and customer funds.

Customer Support

Explain charges, conditions and issue-resolution routes.

Information Handling

Collect only information needed for a defined purpose.

Agent Accountability

Permit activity only after the applicable assessment and activation.

Clear Communication

Distinguish enquiries, eligibility decisions and live services.

Historical permissions have a defined scope

Management reports NCC licences in the predecessor business. Telecommunications permissions do not establish authority for banking, payments, lending or insurance. The relevant provider and permissions must be identified for each financial service.

Use information for the stated purpose

Read the privacy notice before submitting a form. Do not provide PINs, passwords, one-time codes or bank-login information. Optional programme marketing choices should remain separate from service correspondence.

Raise a concern through the appropriate channel

Use the contact page for a Konto membership, application or programme concern. A regulated product’s documentation should identify its provider’s complaints process. Include a reference where available, without exposing account credentials.
